10:29 PM ~ Canada Anthony's leaving this Friday. Not leaving me (cause it would be weird that he's scheduling it and telling me). But he's leaving this city. This country and continent even. He's going all the way to half around the world. To Canada. To study in the University of Waterloo. I'm really scared. And I'm gonna miss him terribly. But we'll make it, right? We always have. And we always will. (': Monday, June 18, 2012
7:15 PM ~
Helloooooww...looowww..loooowww~
I haven't updated in one year and one day now. But at least I'm updating now. :p
A lot has happened in the past year and a day. One of the most significant 'happening' was Anthony. Tony. I've started dating him since December 27, 2012, and he is the most amazing person ever. He's smart, nice, cute, funny bla bla bla. But most importantly, he's awesome. Lol. And he's mine. MINEE XD
Tony and I just had a fight with each other. Wasn't exactly a fight, but we were mad at each other. And things got depressing. But we've talked properly with each other and resolved the issue. Despite bad moments, we promised to never forget our love for each other. I hope problems will never overshadow how important our relationship is.
I love you <3

8:47 PM ~ ByeBye Secret Garden Well I finished all the episodes of the drama 'Secret Garden'. I watched episode 20, the last episode, on Tuesday, 18 January 2011. So sad. I'm gonna miss looking forward to watching the next episodes on the internet.... ):
But I'm glad I got to watch it. Loved it. Friday, December 31, 2010
6:02 PM ~ korea and secret garden I went to Seoul, Korea on the 18th of December, and I came back just yesterday, the 30th. Man it was great there. Family. Winter. Food. Stuffs. Christmas. Snow. And more snow (like really lots). I went with my mother and brother. Most tropical people, like us, would stay indoors as it was really cold (from 10 C to -15 C).. But noooo... we went out. Why? Cause we're awesome. It didn't feel that cold for us anyway. So the trip was great despite my mom's annual scolding. We had to clean up, do the dishes, stay dry and do chores. But it was all worth it. I hope my grandma, aunts, uncle and cousins (families in Korea) stay healthy and happy. Oh yeah. Well anyway... I may have gave the assumption that we were outdoors all the time. However, we actually stayed indoors too. By indoors, I mean my grandma's house or my aunt's house (they live in the same apartment area; not the same one though). While inside, my brother played computer games mostly (cause the internet's super-awesomely-fast there) while I watched TV. Mostly dramas. I watched new dramas and everything. I loved them all. But I particularly fell in love with the 'recently-most-hot' drama called: Secret Garden (시크릿 가든). It's so nice! All comical, exciting, thrilling and romantic. I watched from episode 1 up to 14 (the latest one), thanks to my cousin. But the drama is actually up to episode 20. 6 episodes haven't been broadcasted on TV yet. They roll two episodes per week (Saturdays and Sundays) on SBS. And SBS means... I can't watch it in Jakarta! So I'm all panicky! I'm gonna miss out on 6 legendary episodes! I wanna know what happens next! It's getting really really exciting! NOOOOOOOO!!!! Calm down, Anabel... I'll figure something out. :/ So "The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), a seemingly perfect man yet with certain arrogance and childishness in him, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy of top actresses. One day they went deep into the mountains and entered a strange house. A strange grandmother offered them chocolate [actually a drink] to eat. The next day they found themselves changing bodies. " Some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well you should check it out cause you'll love it. For now, just listen to the also-awesome-as-the-story-music which I put in my blog. It's my favourite song from the drama. Well two favourites. But they both have the same melody and rhythm, just different perspectives; one of the girl's point of view, one of the boy's. Hence, technically one song.
I'm getting really tired. So, cheerio. Thursday, December 16, 2010
9:02 PM ~ Secrets - One Republic Secrets by One Republic. This song came out in 2009. But I wasn't aware of its existence till just recently.
I fell in love with this song within the first 5 seconds I heard it. I love the intro, which is also the background music throughout the whole song. So I even learned the guitar for the whole song during the day I heard it. I listened to it from the movie: 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice', where there is a scene in which the instrumental, or as they say... tesla coil version, of this song appears. I changed one ofmy blog's music to this song. So listen to it. It's nice (: Here are the lyrics (I cut some repeated parts): I need another story Something to get off my chest My life gets kinda boring Need something that I can confess 'Til all my sleeves are stained red From all the truth that I've said Come by it honestly I swear Thought you saw me wink, no I've been on the brink, so My God, amazing how we got this far It's like we're chasing all those stars Who's driving shiny big black cars And everyday I see the news All the problems that we could solve And when a situation rises Just write it into an album Singing straight too cold But I don't really like my flow, no, so Oh, got no reason, got not shame Got no family, I can blame Just don't let me disappear Ima tell you everything [Reff] So tell me what you want to hear Something that'll light those ears I'm sick of all the insincere So I'm gonna give all my secrets away This time, don't need another perfect lie Don't care if critics ever jump in line I'm gonna give all my secrets away Here's a video of the scene: It's a nice and cool scene, right? Really cute. PS: The song, Secrets, is the second song in this scene. Wednesday, December 1, 2010

11:07 PM ~ pray for indonesia ![]() ![]() PRAY FOR INDONESIA. This has been said around the globe, through Twitter and Facebook. Apparently yesterday, it was a trending topic, together with #blessindonesia. Even Paul DiGiovanni of the band 'Boys Like Girls' tweeted: @paulBLG #pray4Indonesia everyone retweet and keep Indonesia in your hearts! This was because there were tragedies all over Indonesia. There was an earthquake followed by a tsunami in Kepulauan Mentawai. A volcanic eruption occurred in Gunung Merapi, Central Java. In the Mentawai tsunami, around 112 people died and over 500 others were reported as lost. The Merapi eruption on the other hand, caused at least thousands of Central Java citizens to panic and move. Some were reported to have died. And where I live, Jakarta, the rain was harsh and still is. In the morning, the sun is bright. In the afternoon, it starts to rain hard. Recently, there was a flood. The traffic was just horrible. Winds have caused mini tornadoes and hurricanes to appear. Horrible things that never happened in Indonesia before are starting to appear. And it's getting worse. So please, pray for Indonesia. Labels: indonesia Monday, October 25, 2010
6:27 PM ~ 25 october 2010, what a flood. 25 October 2010. Going home from school usually costs me around 15 to 20 minutes. Today, it took me 2 hours... I woke up from the sound of the heavy rain and my mother's school bus' rumbling engine as the main chorus. (FYI, my mother owns a school and a mini schoolbus. It's sorta like a minivan. We use it around when there isn't enough transportation for the whole family.) Thunder rumbled as some marveled background music. As I looked out, we were on a strange road in an unfamiliar environment. We reached towards a dead end where I saw a flooded volleyball court. Water was brown and about ankle-high. My driver and his friend has somehow lost track of how to get home. The driver was still new so I had to forgive him. I tried to help out, but I don't remember ever seeing that place before. So my driver had to seek for some information on how to get home. After asking some guy in the street for directions, we got to the main road. From then on, I knew the way home. By then, we were already 1 hour and 30 minutes in the car. I was dying to go to the bathroom. But it just had to wait. The rain and floods had caused traffic jams all around Jakarta. There was even a drowning baby! To save the baby, they closed down a street. It's strange... the things that could happen in floods. The rain was more steady and still as I arrived in my house's street; sort of dripping. I looked at my watch. We had been in the car for two hours now. The water-height outside my house was pretty high. Some cars were unable to pass the flood. But we were able to enter the water. The movement of the car created waves that spread out into all directions like tentacles. They crashed on neighbors' gates with a heaved thrust like a battering ram. It all made a growling noise that made the water come to life. The drizzle seemed threatening all of a sudden. Halfway through, the engine somehow broke down. My driver's attempts to restart the engine was futile. So I took of my shoes and socks, getting ready to jump into the dirty liquid. My driver's friend got out first. Then he opened the car door for me. Luckily, my car was high enough that the rainwater didn't go in it by about an inch. I slided into the water with my school bag held up high enough to be kept dry. The water went up to my stomach. I had to walk home in the rain and flood. When I got home, I headed straight towards the toilet with my soggy clothes. What a day to be ended with a hot shower.
